Biweekly // Second and fourth Sundays,
3-4pm PST
Hosted by Rev. Kelvin Sauls
The beloved former senior pastor at Holman United Methodist Church brings his 20-plus years of ordained ministry and active commitment to "the least of these" to a twice-monthly afternoon hour of religious worship. Sauls, born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa during apartheid, helped create a host of community programming here in L.A., including "Taste of Soul's" Brenda Marsh-Mitchell Gospel Stage, plus he co-founded the Black Alliance for Just Immigration and helms its directors' board -- and that's while finding time to serve as a Los Angeles Housing Services Authority commissioner, a member of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation board of directors and on the dean's advisory council of the historically-black College of Medicine at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.
